Eric Musselman announced his first full recruiting class as head coach of the Nevada men’s basketball team on Wednesday.
“We’re extremely excited about this 2016 recruiting class,” said Musselman, who took over the program just eight months ago from former head coach David Carter. “The staff put in a lot of work, we got a lot accomplished in a short amount of time and it’s a really exciting day for everybody in Wolf Pack nation.”
Musselman’s class includes two four-star recruits and one three-star prospect. The class is ranked second in the Mountain West and 35th in the country, according to Rivals.com.
“Some of the characteristics that we looked for in this recruiting class were players that would play hard, fit into our style of play, could play multiple positions in our position-less basketball and players who would be good students and fit into the academic profile of the university,” Musselman said.
