Eden Roc at Cap Cana
The five-star, Relais & Chateaux resort is nestled in the beachfront community of Cap Cana (Dominican Republic) and features 34 free-standing suites perfect for families. This holiday season, Eden Roc at Cap Cana is offering guests special dining options for all while extending a value-added “Stay 4, Pay 3” package. The resort’s beachfront La Palapa restaurant will be offering a Thanksgiving lunch barbeque followed by dinner at signature Mediterraneo restaurant. Executive Chef Gianluca Re Fraschini will welcome guests with a Raspberry Fizz Cocktail and treat them to fresh, cuisine including Portobello Mushroom stuffed with crab, served over salad with pomegranate vinaigrette followed by Traditional Roasted Turkey stuffed with berries and served with caramelized apple, and finished with Chantal’s New York Cheesecake with vanilla-rum sauce. Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa
Soak up the sun and eat some turkey, too at The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa, situated on 700 feet of white sand of famed Seven Mile Beach. Thanksgiving-style offerings at three different on-site dining venues:
o Tortuga Beach Grill and Bar: A traditional Thanksgiving meal – Thanksgiving on a Roll, featuring sage and thyme roasted turkey breast, sausage and apple dressing, cranberry chutney, giblet mayo, and Brussels sprout coleslaw on a toasted Ciabatta roll served with sweet potato fries. Families and friends may gather for a Thanksgiving dinner on the beach featuring salad, roasted turkey with all the trimmings and pumpkin pie, and followed by a fire pit and s’mores with a movie showing of A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.
o Beach House Restaurant: Chef Sandy Tuason has created a four-course Thanksgiving prix fixe menu for those looking for a hearty holiday meal in an inviting, intimate atmosphere with stunning views of Seven Mile Beach.
o Ferdinand’s Caribbean Café: A Caribbean casual Thanksgiving dinner buffet includes Roasted Cayman Pumpkin Bisque; Turkey and Andouille Sausage Gumbo; a Seafood Bar; Charcuterie and Artisanal Cheese Board; Autumn Salads, such as Organic Farro and Roasted Beet; and a complete Carving Station with Whole Roasted Organic Turkey, Certified Angus Beef New York Striploin, Cane Syrup Glazed Ham, Whole Roasted Island Snapper; and garlic mashed Yukon potatoes, sweet potato mash, long bean casserole, braised greens, herb roasted root vegetables, wild rice and cauliflower with bacon.
Solage Calistoga – Thanksgiving Wine Pairings in Napa Valley
Located in the heart of Napa Valley, six-time Michelin Star-rated Solbar restaurant at Solage Calistoga is a great place to indulge in fresh Californian cuisine amidst mountain views and vineyards. This Thanksgiving, Executive Chef Brandon Sharp has partnered with Sommelier Scott Turnbull to offer a Thanksgiving pairing menu. Incorporating local and seasonal ingredients, pairings range from a refreshing Spinach and Chicory Salad with Arkansas Black Apple accompanied by a 2012 Thomas Fogarty Gewürztraminer, to a slice of Pumpkin Pie with Bourbon Whipped Cream and Candied Pecans paired with a 2004 Dusinberre Muscat Canelli.
Omni Homestead Resort
Celebrating its 250th Anniversary in 2016, this legendary resort begins the day with a Brunch Buffet in the Grand Ballroom with menu options such as a Fresh Shucked Oysters, Shrimp, Crab, Smoked Mussel and Chorizo Salad or Roasted Pumpkin Bisque. The Thanksgiving Dinner Buffet also in the Grand Ballroom will feature Brown Sugar and Honey Glazed Virginia Ham, Roast Tom Turkey and a Waldorf Salad. For dessert, there will be Pumpkin Pie, Warm Homestead Doughnut Bread Pudding and more.
Omni Rancho Las Palmas
Have a holiday themed feast at Omni Rancho Las Palmas’ celebratory buffet that will feature designated stations such as: Seafood with shrimp, mussels, crab and more; Farmers Market for your greens; Cheeses with a selection of smoked gouda, sharp cheddar and others. Guests also can pick from a myriad of offerings including Creamed Butternut Squash Soup, Roasted Tom Turkey, Candied Yams with maple syrup and Marshmallow, and Pan Fried Salmon throughout the other stations.
Montage Beverly Hills
The famed Scarpetta restaurant at Montage Beverly Hills will feature celebrity Chef Scott Conant’s modern, earthy and classic Italian style in a gourmet buffet with items including Citrus Cured Salmon, Whipped Yukon Gold Potatoes, Leg of Lamb, Brussels Sprouts, and much more.
Montage Laguna Beach
The beachfront resort’s is hosting a 12-station gourmet buffet which will feature all of the holiday’s signature fixings. Guests also can enjoy music from a live jazz trio, take professional family portraits, and partake in a celebratory champagne toast to cheers to the evening.
Montage Palmetto Bluff
The property’s Montage Memories promotion, which extends accommodations in a cottage or village home, complimentary daily breakfast daily and a golf cart for exploring. Holidays at Montage Palmetto Bluff are an intimate affair with the range of familiar culinary experiences that await, including a Thanksgiving “Turkey To Go” program that allows individuals to celebrate the holiday in the comfort of their own cottage or village home. Rates start at $425 per night in the cottages; based on number of adults per room with a two-night minimum.
Omni Bedford Springs Resort
One of America’s more historic properties will host a Thanksgiving Day buffet in its Colonnade Ballroom, Executive Chef David Noto will be serving a carefully curated Thanksgiving meal incorporating classic harvest flavors and creative new additions. A sampling of menu options include a Pink Peppercorn Crusted Pork Loin, Butternut Squash Ravioli, and a Butter Pecan Brûlée.
A Grand Mountain Celebration at The Omni Grove Park Inn
For dinner and a view, those in search of a first-rate should head into the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains for a meal at The Omni Grove Park Inn. From Nov. 25-29, the resort will serve up meals at four different on-site dining venues.
o Blue Ridge Buffet: Friends and family can indulge in a Thanksgiving Day Buffet at the Inn’s Blue Ridge artisanal buffet, which has a wall of windows offering views of North Carolina’s famed mountain range. o Vue 1913: For authentic southern cuisine, turkey day-travelers can enjoy the Inn’s brasserie, Vue 1913, where a three-course plated menu with gourmet interpretations on Thanksgiving classics awaits hungry travelers. First course options include a Caramelized Apple and Rutabaga Bisque and a Roasted Autumn Squash and Ham Salad, followed by second course options of a Roasted Turkey Breast Roulade, Lamb Osso Bucco, Beef Filet or Seared Salmon. End the meal with a classic slice of pecan or pumpkin pie.
o EDISON craft ales + kitchen: For a more casual meal, Asheville-bound travelers should head to EDISON craft ales + kitchen for lunch or dinner at the Inn’s inventive bar and restaurant. Lunch and dinner options include Thanksgiving staples like roasted turkey breast, cranberry apple chutney and whipped potatoes and gravy, reminiscent of a home-cooked meal.
A Feast fit for Hotel Vermont
The culinary minds behind Hotel Vermont’s Juniper Bar and Restaurant are continuously incorporating Burlington’s freshest, seasonal ingredients into the menu, and this Thanksgiving, New England travelers can get a traditional Vermont feast at the laid-back dining venue. Guests can enjoy Rolls with Sea-Salted Vermont Creamery Butter along with Maple-Smoked Sweet Potato Soup before taking on the main course: Slow-Roasted Vermont Turkey complete with stuffing, brussel sprouts, butternut squash, mashed potatoes with gravy and Vermont Cranberry Co. sauce. They then can cozy up to the wood-burning lobby fireplace with a hot mulled cider or Vermont artisan tea.
The Beverly Hills Hotel and Hotel Bel-Air
For an elevated take on a Thanksgiving meal, here is what Angelenos and travelers can experience at, The Beverly Hills Hotel and Hotel Bel-Air.
The Beverly Hills Hotel’s hot spot, The Polo Lounge, has whipped up two Thanksgiving menus. A Thanksgiving brunch will feature dishes including Smoked Salmon and Grilled Leek Quiche, Main Lobster Frittata and Pumpkin Bread Pudding. For a show-stopping dinner, the culinary geniuses at Polo Lounge have put together a three-course menu featuring Smoked Judori Chicken and White Truffle “Pot Pie” and Dungeness Crab Salad to start, followed by delightful main courses like a Slow Roasted Prime Rib with a Bone Marrow Emulsion and a Diestel Turkey with Pecan Crumbled Yams and a Cranberry Compote. Diners can end each meal with a selection (or two) from the Polo Lounge’s exquisite dessert buffet, comprised of bourbon pecan pie, spiced apple cobbler and hazelnut raspberry financier.
Of course Wolfgang Puck at Hotel Bel-Air is planning an equally indulgent Thanksgiving feast made for a family-style dinner. Sides to be shared with the table include original creations like a Yellow Finnish Potato Puree and Red Jewell Sweet Potato Gratin, paired with starters like a Roasted Pumpkin Soup or Fuji Apple & Baby Frisee salad, and of course, a splendid Roasted Organic Turkey complete with Gravy and Cranberry-Quince Chutney.
Mountain Top Inn & Resort
This mountain resort located in Chittenden, Vermont offers travelers comfortable furnished trailside cottages such as the three-story Campion, which sleeps six guests, or the largest home on property, Mountain Aire Lodge which sleeps up to 18 guests. With the resort’s “Thanksgiving Escape to Vermont” package, guests get two nights in a classic lodge room or three nights in a vacation home. Guests can “give thanks” with a Thanksgiving buffet taking place in the resort’s Event Barn, offering views of the Green Mountains and the Resort’s lake. Package rates for rooms start at $350. Thanksgiving with Loews Hotels & Resorts
Loews Hotels & Resorts is giving guests plenty of reasons to be thankful.
o For a New Orleans twist on the traditional Thanksgiving dinner, Café Adelaide at Loews New Orleans Hotel is offering an a-la-carte menu with “Turducken” roasted quail stuffed with turkey and duck boudin over cranberry-pepper jelly glazed Brussels sprouts, spiced pecans, pickled beets and foie gras-butternut squash purée. Another highlight? The Duck Dirty Rice Calas with pumpkin purée and jalapeño-pepper jelly.
o Upscale, California-inspired restaurant Brasserie S&P at Loews Regency San Francisco Hotel will be offering a pre-fixe menu with a wide variety of delicious options for foodies looking for a great place to dine on Thanksgiving. Menu highlights include Roasted Pumpkin Soup, with chestnut flan, poached gold raisins and fried sage; Roasted Early Bird Organic Turkey, with Yukon gold potato purée, crème fraîche, brioche stuffing and giblet Gravy; and Apple Thyme Galette, featuring mascarpone, maple-calvados ice cream and caramelized salted walnuts.
o A special Chicago-style Thanksgiving tasting menu will be available at Rural Society — a Jose Garces Argentinian shared-plates restaurant concept at Loews Chicago Hotel. Chef de Cuisine Cory Morris, a recent “Chopped” winner, designed a fantastic menu fusing Argentinian classics with traditional Thanksgiving staples. The menu offers unique Thanksgiving dishes like Calabaza Criolla, featuring roasted squash, foie cream, farro and candied pumpkin seeds; Pan Relleno, a brioche stuffing with turkey giblets, Malbec-poached currants, Brioche and smoked chestnut custard; and Postre Rogel, a Swiss meringue, lemon curd, Dulce de Leche puff pastry.
