Brian’s exclusive forecast for Baltimore, Washington DC, and Annapolis:
Tonight: Cloudy with occasional rain showers. Warm and humid with a low around 70…..Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with occasional rain showers. Humid but not as warm as today with a high in the mid to upper 70s…..Wednesday Night: Generally cloudy with a few showers. Turning cooler with a low in the upper 50s…..Thursday: Mostly cloudy with periods of rain. Cooler with a high in the mid 60s.
A cold front will continue to move eastward from the Appalachians in the west toward Chesapeake Bay on Wednesday. At the same time, an area of low pressure will move along the front and amplify precipitation across the region through Wednesday. At this time, the front is expected to stall to our east on Thursday and Friday. This will keep the area under generally cloudy conditions along with periods of rain. Additionally, temperatures will turn cooler with highs in the 70s on Wednesday, 60s on Thursday, and upper 50s to lower 60s on Friday. Looking ahead, the remnants of a tropical system may combine with the stalled-out front to produce another period of moderate to potentially heavy rain this weekend.
