Michelob ULTRA’s support of “National Take a Hike Day” is part of their partnership with the American Hiking Society (AHS). This year Michelob ULTRA and the American Hiking Society presented two “Superior Trails” grants of $25,000 to the Ice Age Trail Alliance and Continental Divide National Scenic Trail. The Ice Age Trail is a 1,000 mile footpath across Wisconsin and the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail is 3,100 miles long from Canada to Mexico.
According to AHS, “the Ice Age Trail Alliance will use the grant to help upgrade over 8 miles of passageways with new signage, drainage systems, and reinforced bridges. The Continental Divide National Scenic Trail will use its grant to create a new “Trail Adopters” training program that helps educate new Adopters on the Gila and Carson National Forests.”
So at the end of great day hiking on any of America’s hiking trails and footpaths or paddling any of the amazing kayak or paddling trails throughout the United States, there’s no better way for adults to celebrate reaching the trailhead or dock at the end of a hike or paddle than with a refreshing ice cold beer.
