Metric will head south of the border for a 2016 winter tour. The Canuck indie-rockers will be touring in support of their newly released studio album Pagans in Vegas, which hit shelves Sept. 18 via UMG.
The multi-Juno winners made the announcement on Nov. 17 via an update at their official Facebook page. Metric have dubbed the winter romp the “I Can See the End Tour,” which will hit 24 cities coast-to-coast across the U.S. throughout February and early March.
The trek will kick off on Feb., 12, 2016 in Chicago at the House of Blues. The I Can See the End Tour will hit numerous major cities, including stops in Dallas, Seattle, San Francisco, Baltimore and New York before wrapping up March 17, 2016 in Boston at the Orpheum Theatre.
Pre-sales begin Tues., Nov 17. Tickets go on sale Fri. Nov. 20 at 10 a.m. local time. For more information, click here.
Pagans in Vegas is the band’s much anticipated follow up to 2012’s Synthetica. The album features 12 tracks, including its three singles “The Shade,” “Cascades” as well as “Too Bad, So Sad” and is available in digital, CD and vinyl formats in standard, deluxe and limited edition super deluxe editions.
Metric spend much of the year touring as very special guests with Imagine Dragons on their Smoke and Mirrors Tour of North America. U.S. fans who can’t wait until 2016 can catch the band on next scheduled stop on Nov. 17 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at Cain’s Ballroom. Tickets for select dates are available at AXS.
