Memorial Day 2015 will be just another day for many who are at the lake, hiking in the mountains, swimming the pool, cooking on the grill. However, for those who have lost a loved one defending the freedom of America will be much more than that and it should be for all Americans.
Stop today and give thanks for our country, and thank God for those who died so that we can do all the above in relative safety and freedom.
You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to see what is happening all over the world – the evil ones seem to be winning on every hand – and that is because God is withholding his mercy for those He wishes to bless; but because of their unbelief and determination “to do it their way,” we see death, destruction, mayhem, rioting, robbing, killing, and all manner of evil.
But God has promised to restore the years the locust have eaten away if we will humble ourselves, seek forgiveness, and turn from our wicked ways. This weekend let us be more mindful of our precarious situations here in America and spend time on our knees honoring all those who died for our freedom and especially the one, Jesus, who died for our sins and eternal life.

Many soldiers who survived the recent wars were injured in many ways other than just bodily – they have been injured in mind, body, and spirit and it has a name PTSD – so just what is that?
I am an American soldier:
Lord, help us to open our eyes and shed a few tears for those who died so long again and open our hearts and minds to love and support those who are still on the battlefields of honor defending us on this Memorial Day 2015. God bless you one and all, and God bless each member of your family who is serving our country here at home as well.
Shame on those who tread on our flag, the symbol of our nation. And shame on those who for selfish reasons are destroying our nation from within.
