The Mercy Breast Center offers a private setting for this very important woman’s procedure. The breast center has a feminine décor and quiet ambiance. When you walk in, a mature receptionist will greet you. The receptionist will guide you to the admissions desk where you will be treated respectfully as you register for this procedure. From there, the admissions attendant will direct you to the dressing room to change for the procedure.
The dressing gowns are soft pink fabric that closes well in the front. While you wait, there is an excellent selection of woman’s magazines to browse through. Once in the procedure room, the nurse is courteous and patiently answers any questions. As the nurse guides you through the examination, you will find that the equipment and machines are room temperature, so there is no shock to your body.
Mercy Breast Center operates a Mobile Mammogram service to assist women in receiving this important screening. Trained technicians administer the tests. The Mercy Breast Center participates in providing free breast screening to women without insurance or with high-deductible insurance.
