The tour firm Abercrombie & Kent is adding a dozen new trips to its Luxury Small Group Journeys for 2016, and next month will resume its Bhutan & Nepal: Heart of the Himalaya tour, which was put on hold following the 2015 earthquake.
“After careful consideration and an exploratory trip that allowed us to determine the safety and level of standards available, we made some adjustments to our current itinerary and are happy to say that A&K will be returning to Nepal this fall,” explains Phil Otterson, president of the company. “We have seen the positive effects tourism has had in helping communities rebuild after natural disasters and look forward to once again introducing travellers to this beautiful country and its people.”
