The 2015 LPGA golf season comes to a close this week at the money rich CME Group Tour Championship which is being played from November 19-22, 2015, at the Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Florida. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs for the women LPGA golfers this week at the 2015 CME Group Tour Championship.
In addition to the prize money listed below, three of the LPGA golfers will earn bonus money this week from the Race to the CME Globe season long points contest which will be decided at the 2015 CME Group Tour Championship tournament. The winner of the Race to the Globe will earn a cool bonus of $1 million. The second place finisher will earn a $150,000 bonus and the third place finisher will earn a $100,000 bonus.
This tournament has been played annually since 2011. No woman has won this tournament more than once to date. The previous winners are Hee Young Park (2011), Na Yeon Choi (2012), Shanshan Feng (2013) and Lydia Ko (2014).
The total prize money up for grabs at the 2015 CME Group Tour Championship is $2 million not counting the bonus money. That’s the same amount of prize money as last year. The winner’s share below is set in stone while the other amounts can vary a bit based upon ties and how many women withdraw from the tournament. There is no cut this week and all 70 or so players will earn a paycheck of at least around $3,000.
