Today, American heavy rock band Lamb of Rock releases their highly-anticipated seventh full length album, “VII: Sturm Und Drang,” via Epic Records. Fans can purchase the album at physical retailers everywhere, or digitally via Lamb-of-God.com, iTunes, Amazon, or Google Play. The new release comes on the heels of releasing their official music videos for “Overlord” and “512”, both directed by Jorge Torres-Torres.
The reviews so far have been positive regarding the new release. Rolling Stone said that although there’s plenty of the band’s trademark guitar chug and Olympics-level drumming, the eerier moments and unexpected guests show a group that’s thirsty to evolve beyond its own established patterns. Blabbermouth said about the album, that for all of its polish and bows to melody, is one of the fiercest albums they’ve ever laid down.
The band is equally as excited about their newest creation. Lead singer Randy Blythe had this to say:
Over twenty years ago this band started in the basement – we’re still standing, and I’m still stoked to be putting out new music. As always, play it LOUD.
For fans that would like a signed copy of the album, Lamb of God will be doing some upcoming record signings at these locations:
