Bachelor in Paradise stars Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul’s wedding will be the highlight of the upcoming season of ABC’s summer reality show. Amidst the drama and hookups, Us Weekly reports that Marcus and Lacy tied the knot in Mexico before filming wrapped up this week.
Marcus, who was a contestant on Andi Dorfman’s season of the Bachelorette, proposed to Lacy on the season finale of the Bachelor spinoff. Fans have followed their love story since their engagement aired in early September 2014.
The bride and groom are not able to share the news with their fans until their wedding airs on Bachelor in Paradise. However, Grodd, 26, did wish his new wife a happy anniversary on Instagram on Thursday, hinting about their wedding in the caption.
“Happy 1 year anniversary honey buns. Crazy to think I had a ring in my pocket this time last year without her having a clue. Whatcha getting ready for?”
Grodd and Faddoul have been talking about the upcoming wedding since their engagement aired on Bachelor in Paradise, but never confirmed that it would be televised. During the premiere of Chris Soules’ season of the Bachelor, Lacy told Us Weekly that they were still in the planning stages.
It is not known if Marcus and Lacy’s wedding will air on the season finale of Bachelor in Paradise, or earlier in the season. Tune in to watch BIP Season 2 starting with the two-night premiere on August 2 at 8 p.m. ET.
