Kris Jenner has received some bad publicity over Caitlyn Jenner. Caitlyn slammed Kris in her interview with Vanity Fair. Therefore, Kris set up a meeting with Caitlyn and allowed it to be filmed for the show, “I Am Cait.” Radar Online, July 31, 2015, reported that Kris Jenner’s feud with Caitlyn has ended as the two women finally met face to face. The meeting was set up at Caitlyn’s home in Malibu. A source reported that Kris met with Caitlyn only as a public relations stunt. Kris is a well-informed businessperson and she knew it would help her public image. Kris and Caitlyn met up ready to start filming.
The two women had a lot to catch up on and they discussed many things. They chatted about their kids and what they should do for Kylie’s birthday. Kris believes Caitlyn should spend more time with Kylie before she turns 18. Kris is especially worried because Kylie wants to marry Tyga. Hollywood Life reports that Kris and Caitlyn are against that marriage. Caitlyn graciously showed Kris her home and Kris complimented her on the great job she did with the decorating. Caitlyn has a full-time 24-hour glam squad and her disposal. If she has to go somewhere, her hair and makeup will look perfect. Kris admitted it’s hard to accept her former husband is now a woman. However, she could see Caitlyn’s happiness and Kris said that was all that mattered in the end.
For a while, television shows featuring Caitlyn’s gender change ranked high in the ratings, but now it is going the other way. According to the Neilson ratings, around 17 million people watched Caitlyn’s interview with Diane Sawyer. Then, her ratings dropped. The special episode, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce” had around 4.2 million viewers. The much-anticipated premiere episode of “I Am Cait” had almost half that amount falling at around 2.7 million people tuned into the docuseries. The source confided that Caitlyn does not like to lose to Kris and her dismal viewer numbers make her very sad.
