This week the Boise Knitting Factory will offer fans a slamming deal on some of the best concerts of the fall. The Big Ticket – Rock Edition 2015 will go on sale this Friday, July 31 at 10 a.m. Tickets are only $50 which is covers five amazing shows, and only 150 passes will be available, The package kicks off in September with Hollywood Undead, then four more shows in October including GWAR, Ghost, The Black Dahlia Murder, and Clutch. The latter will also feature Corrosion of Conformity with Pepper Keenan. These five shows separately would run over $100. This is a great way to save some money and see some fantastic talent.
Hollywood Undead – September 19 with Crown The Empire and I Prevail
Hollywood Undead are touring in support of its latest release, Day of the Dead. The band’s blend or rock, rap, metal and hip-hop gives them a sound that is fresh and exciting to hear, and hellacious to watch. Texas-based metalcore troop, Crown the Empire is also on the bill.
The Black Dahlia Murder – October 16 with Iron Reagan, Harm’s Way and Maruta
Michigan’s The Black Dahlia Murder will be touring in support of its upcoming new album, Abysmal which releases September 18. It will be the quintet’s seventh studio album of melodic death metal. Virginia’s hardcore/thrash crossover act, Iron Reagan is also on the bill and features members of Cannabis Corpse, Darkest Hour and Municipal Waste.
GWAR – October 18 with Born Of Osiris and Battlecross
This show alone is worth the price of the whole package. GWAR returns to the Treasure Valley spewing forth their own brand of schlock metal. Be prepared to leave exhausted and wet. If GWAR were not enough Illinois’ progressive deathcore contingent, Born of Osiris will be on hand, as well as Michigan’s rising metal stars, Battlecross. The latter will be performing material from their upcoming new release, Rise to Power.
Ghost – October 19 with Purson
Sweden’s Ghost will be one of the most intriguing shows of the fall. The band will set off on its Black to the Future tour in support of its highly anticipated third offering, Meliora. The show will mark the Boise debut of new vocalist, Papa Emeritus III. Joining the ghoulish event will be London’s psychedelic rockers, Purson.
Clutch – October 23 with Corrosion Of Conformity and The Shrine
Another show not to be missed. Clutch is one of Maryland’s greatest rock exports, and each new release brings greater praise from fans and critics alike. The band’s newest release, Psychic Warfare will be released shortly before the start of the tour. A headliner in their own right, North Carolina’s Corrosion of Conformity is also on the bill, featuring the return of Pepper Keenan.
