Country superstar, Kip Moore has so many fans including women in fan love with his incredible talent, stage presence and drop-dead gorgeous good looks. He’s used to groupies, however, he had no idea that a Kip-addicted woman, known as Jenna, would appear on the popular CBS show, Dr. Phil Show on Friday, November 13, 2015 to nationally declare her hopes that she and Kip will connect and possibly marry. The audience, like Dr. Phil McGraw could only shake their heads in disbelief as Jenna was doing her best to appear desirable and as if she was appearing in her own commercial to entice the country music superstar.
It all began after Jenna went with her sister-in-law to a meet and greet at a Kip Moore concert in Cincinnati, Ohio. Making sure he would notice her, she had front row seats, wore a sexy red dress and says that she kept making eye contact with the country singer. “I knew he was singing directly to me…our eyes connected and the sparks flew. I’m ready to marry him!” At the meet and greet, Jenna hugged Kip and in an excited text to her husband, said, “I kissed him right smack dab on the neck!” In addition, of course the fact that Kip Moore smiled at her and called her “Red,” to her, meant Kip reciprocated her love. “He stared into my eyes. I’ve never felt something so strongly in my life.”
After the show, he signed her back, and she turned his signature into a tattoo. “It’s a symbol of his kindness and his passion,” explains Jenna, who proceeded to write Kip a 12-page double sided letter, wrote “Marry Me Kip” on the back of her car, and tried to call his management to reach him, to no avail. She tags him in all social media posts in the hopes that he’ll respond. Not surprisingly, he never has. Jenna says that after those few brief encounters with the musician, she realized that the love she has for him is “the kind of love she wants and deserves.” (Run, Kip, run!)
Dr. Phil is not easily shocked, nonetheless, the good doctor sat there, probably with straight jackets swirling in his head as Jenna also admitted telling Kip that she would not leave without him. Kip’s response was “I can’t do that. I’m on tour!” She also tried to get on Kip’s tour bus. Her red car’s back window was emblazoned with the words, “Marry me Kip Moore!” Nevertheless, she said on the show, that she just needed a ride home. What happened to Jenna’s red car pledging her intentions?
However, there is one thing messing up her plans to be with Kip Moore – Jenna’s husband of eight years, Travis. She believes that once she divorces her husband, she will travel to Hawaii (one of Kip Moore’s favorite places) to find Kip. When Dr. Phil asked about her children, she said, “I’m sure we could work out parental joint custody.” Hinting to Travis that he would watch the kids, while she flies out to find and meet up with (stalk) Kip Moore. “I’m destined to be with Kip Moore,” says Jenna. “If Kip would be willing, I will marry him, and run off to Hawaii and I’ll have his surfer babies.”
Jenna also sent husband Travis a text message on her way home from the country music concert saying that she is “100 percent in love” with the country music star and wants a divorce. Travis and Jenna have been married to each other twice. This will be the second divorce for the two. Jenna claims Travis has been mentally, verbally and physically abusive — a claim Travis strongly denies. However if your wife, professes her love for another man, planning to chase him down, one would be a little on edge. Travis cited her drinking heavily, breaking her ankle getting out of bed, breaking her wrist after a party when he refused to let her drive drunk with their kids as well as several other alcohol related injuries. Prior to the final divorce papers being issued, Janna put a restraining order on Travis. Her next move that day was to put all of Travis’ precious things in the yard for a garage sale. Rightfully, Travis now wants the divorce that Jenna had wished for all along. Jenna’s sister-in-law is married to Travis’ brother. On stage, along with Travis, they agreed that Jenna is quite delusional and they are cutting ties with her.
All joking aside, I feel sorry for her. She seems more than a little delusional. The sad end to the story was Kip Moore’s response to the topic and the claims by Jenna. Smiling gleefully that Kip Moore would acknowledge her, Jenna’s face quickly changed as the bubble burst with Kip’s response. In a statement shown on Dr. Phil’s Show, Kip was the perfect gentleman, saying that he has many fans and many he remembers, however, his performances are for all fans and not directed at any specific person, such as Jenna. Kip wished her all the best.
Jenna’s demeanor melted from excitement to a confused and heartbroken state. Her story changed to the fact that Kip Moore was her “wake up call” for her to leave a loveless marriage. Dr. Phil’s advice to Jenna was to grow up. However, perhaps the most priceless part of his conversation with Jenna was when he asked her that since he (Dr. Phil) had called her “Red” and they had made eye-to-eye contact – would she follow him home. Before she could answer, Dr. Phil said, “Because, if you do, my wife will “Beat your a…!” Dr. Phil’s wife, being in the audience, said “Oh, yeah!” and continuously nodded her head with great energy.
Perhaps Kip Moore might want to consider Mrs. Phil for a bodyguard.
