Kim Kardashian has about a month to go before she can deliver her baby on Christmas Day, but she discovered she has another problem with her pregnancy. According to People, Nov. 24, 2015, Kim’s baby is in a breech position, which means his head is still facing upwards. Normally babies turn by the 32 week, but whereas Kim is in her 36 week, she is a bit concerned and trying to get her baby to turn.
Most breech babies are delivered by C-section, but Kim does not want her baby brought into the world by that method. She is looking into other ways she can have her baby. Kim feels fortunate that her doctor Paul Crane knows how to deliver a breech baby in his years of experience. Apparently, Dr. Paul Crane was Kris Jenner’s doctor and he delivered Kim.
Kim said that she is researching various ways to get her baby to turn including laying upside down for 15 minutes three times a day. “I play music in the right position and ice my belly in certain spots to get him to squirm out of the breech position. I even started acupuncture where I burn moxa (mugwort) on my pinky toe every day! I am even attempting hypnosis!” If those all fail, she wants to try Version or ECV, which can only be done in the hospital. Kim admits that she even has “intensive chiropractic work” done, but still the baby won’t turn into the delivery position.
E Online reports that Kim wrote on her blog, “I’ve surrendered to the placenta issues and actually haven’t been thinking too deeply about them lately. However, my latest concern is that my baby is breech, meaning he’s in the wrong position for childbirth.”
The show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” will chronicle all the things she tries just to get her baby to turn so he can be delivered normally with his head coming out first. However, many think that the baby is already too big to turn, as he weighs 7 pounds.
It took a long time for Kim to become pregnant and then she made people furious when she said this pregnancy was the worst experience in her life. She has placenta issues, a condition she had with her daughter North. Usually, the placenta comes out right after the baby is delivered, but hers remained inside and the doctor had to scrape it out by hand.
Another issue Kim faced with this pregnancy was gestational diabetes, which Kris said she had when she was pregnant with Kylie. Kim believes it is a wake-up call to eat healthier. What do you think about Kim’s methods of trying to get her baby to turn? Should she have a C-section or try her best not to have that procedure done by trying almost anything she can find on turning her baby? Post your thoughts below in the comments section.
