Justin Bieber embarks on a mission to educate his fans on the etiquette of taking his picture. He lets his fans know in a rant on Snapchat that how you approach the boy-like crooner is going to “determine if I take a photo or not.”
According to MSN Entertainment News on September 28, Bieber is seen on Snapchat sending these tips out to fans looking to him for a picture. Doesn’t this Boy Wonder understand that being condescending to his fans is going to determine if they want to take your picture at all!
It looks as if Bieber’s humble ship sailed a long time ago because this recent rant is insipid for a kid that is filthy rich only because of his fans, the ones who are looking to take his picture. Picture taking 101 didn’t stop with his first command, it continued. Bieber says: “If I’m walking somewhere or arriving somewhere and you guys are asking me to take a photo, if I don’t respond, if I continue to keep walking, the likelihood is that I probably don’t want to take a photo at that moment.” Did you all get that now?
The Huffington Post explains that “first impressions count for the Biebs, so make yours a good one.” They also put it nicely when saying that Bieber lays out “strict” rules for his fans when wanting to take his picture. Other websites are calling this a “rant” or a “lecture.”
The “Baby” singer also passes along that screaming just won’t work. He says, “If you start screaming louder that’s not going to make me take a photo more.” Now do all his fans understand this? Screaming isn’t going to help you one bit! Maybe try approaching Bieber with a whisper.
He goes on and on and on about how he feels about getting his picture taken and letting fans know that although he’s happy to take pictures with them, it is only going to happen if they are polite. This is from a guy whose lack of respect for his neighbors ended with him being dragged into court.
Bieber also lets his fans know that “I want to enjoy the moment like you’re enjoying the moment but I can’t enjoy it if I’m not feeling there’s any respect given to me that moment.” Just to clarify what he is meaning by all of this, he offers even more of a reprimand saying: “Usually the chances are I’ll take a photo but if perhaps I don’t, or I’m not in the mood to take a photo that moment, please just respect me and just treat me the way you want to be treated.”
Maybe he could wear a happy face sticker to signal to his fans that he is in the mood for picture taking. He can then add into his picture taking 101 humble instructions that they need to back away if they don’t see that happy face.
Next Bieber said that he’s not sure if fans who swamp him in the streets are there “to see me in the first place” or “so you can tell people about it.” It sounds like he is thinking about how folks pose near the Statue of Liberty or the Eiffel Tower just so they can show their friends that they’ve been there. Does he think of himself as a moving landmark?
It seems he thinks many of his fans want bragging rights, which is their reasoning for trying to take his picture. Bieber closed his picture taking 101 with a word to the wise, “The singer concluded: “Just remember I’m not unattainable, unreachable, I’m just like you and I communicate just like you, so next time remember.”
Hopefully you have got all this down, because if you do run across Bieber, there’s an awful lot to remember here when trying to get a photo of this kid! You don’t want to mess up.
Doesn’t this kid have a publicist or someone who screens stuff before he unleashes it online? If he keeps reprimanding his fans like this and holding himself on this huge pedestal, he may look up and wonder where all those cameras have gone.
