It has come as a shock to many of his fans that Justin Bieber says he has suffered from depression. With his unusual talent, great success with extreme wealth as a young man, and scores of attractive young women across the world who would love to date him he seems to be an unlikely person to suffer from depression. MTV News reported on Nov. 12, 2015, that Bieber’s emotional story reminds us that it’s possible for anyone to be hit with depression.
Bieber has had to endure many humiliating public exposures of mishaps in his life such as allegations that he pelted his neighbor’s house with eggs in California, a charge of vandalism in Brazil for spraying ‘Beliebers 4 life’ graffiti on the wall of a hotel, and an arrest for driving under the influence and speeding. Bieber has offered many apologies for these and other embarrassing incidents in his life with assertions he’s always trying his best to be a better person. Now Bieber has also revealed that he often suffers from depression.
Bieber says he would like people to remember that he’s just human. He says he often has to struggle to get through the days just like a lot of people do. He has shared that being on the road is often very lonely. Although the public may think his lifestyle is glamorous Bieber says that kind of life can tear you apart. He has gone on to confess that he has to cope with depression all of the time and that he feels terribly isolated by his fame.
The Daily Mail reports Bieber has said he even felt depressed while he was working on his new album because he was striving for it to be perfect. Bieber has commented that sometimes he feels so depressed he doesn’t really feel like getting out of bed. This is really too bad and probably explains some of Bieber’s erratic behavior over the years.
Although haters refuse to even consider positive side of what Bieber has to offer a careful review of his songs reveals a young man with an incredible talent to share a myriad of important feelings about life with fans. It seems as if his many apologies and his music really comes from an emotionally warm and very intelligent person.
Bieber therefore needs and deserves the best possible natural interventions possible to help him with his mental health and to help him shine even more than he already has in life. Psychiatry would be the wrong intervention for Bieber or anyone for that matter because as the Citizens Commission on Human Rights points out psychiatry is a highly destructive discipline which always causes far more harm than good.
Bieber should try hard to avoid drugs and alcohol. He should also find time daily to get a good deal of exercise, preferably in the fresh air and sunshine. Bieber should also maintain a healthy diet and stay away from junk food. Like everyone else Bieber also needs adequate rest and relaxation daily. He should also try to spend his time with people who value him as a person and see the positive potential in him as a human being. With this type of natural intervention Bieber could beat his depression and shine in even more ways in life than he already has.
