If Jimmy Kimmel and Matt Damon can sit down on a couch and discuss their problems like mature adults, there is hope for the rest of us. The latest laugh in the ongoing (fake) feud between the two big celebrities has everyone noticing that the duo is trying to solve their on air issues with couples therapy. According to E! Online on Tuesday, the 12-year feud has people realizing that Matt Damon has been waiting to go on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” as a guest for a very long time.
Talking out the issues with a so-called therapist, the relationship between the two stars definitely found a starting point. In what definitely was a staged video, the entertainers talked about the opportunity that Matt Damon found almost every night as he seems to repeatedly miss the chance to be a guest. Letting the audience decipher the situation as the celebrities were attending couple’s therapy together, the funny moments included Matt asking for a TV for the green room and Jimmy Kimmel complaining when he was tied up for an entire episode in 2013.
While the therapist got the two stars to talk, it appears that the feud might not be resolved yet. More couples therapy could be coming and with the wildly successful segment, fans are hoping the cameras are going to be allowed in the room every week. According to ABC News on Tuesday, fans aren’t sure whether or not the two stars will be on stage together to talk in a regular interview. After 12 years of bumping Matt Damon, it was Jimmy Kimmel who said he wasn’t going to be apologizing to the star anymore.
