While Cyber Monday is designed to boost holiday sales, it also offers opportunities for artistic expression. At least that’s the case for Chicagoland thespians seeking discounts on rehearsal and performance space; aspiring performers who want to fine-tune their improvisational skills with classes; and theater-goers looking for special rates on comedy shows.
Now until midnight, the improv company Theatre Momentum is offering Cyber Monday discounts on all these things. When ordered today, tickets for its weekend shows—One Act, Primarily Nonsense, and Horror of Terror—are available for just $11 for all three shows.
The company’s Improv as Theatre classes are also being offered at half price when applicants sign up today. Sessions start in January 2016 and include instruction on how to craft believable characters, develop witty dialogue, explore comic possibilities, and create seamless productions.
For those who already know how to put a show together but need a space to do it, Theatre Momentum is offering discounted rehearsal and performance space for troupes that make reservations by midnight.
Theatre Momentum is located on 1803 W. Byron Street in Chicago. Visit www.theatremomentum.com to take advantage of its many Cyber Monday deals.
