If this article doesn’t get your blood boiling, then you’re emotionless. In yet another instance where the Obama administration didn’t protect the American people, a sick individual who was in the country illegally terrorized an innocent victim. According the LA Times article, Keane Dean “was released in April on $10,000 bond so he could be free while he contested his immigration case.”
Last week, Dean was charged with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl while waiting for his immigration hearing. That he was free on bond is disgraceful. The bigger question is why this beast was allowed into the country in the first place. Don’t hold your breath while waiting for the Obama administration to explain why it isn’t protecting innocent U.S. civilians. Based on their actions, not their words, protecting U.S. citizens isn’t this administration’s priority.
This administration’s highest immigration priority is to keep it alive as a political issue. Border Patrol agents have gotten killed. Ranchers have gotten terrorized by drug cartel soldiers in Arizona. Kate Steinle was murdered in San Francisco by an illegal alien who had been convicted of 7 felonies.
The Obama administration’s response to those things was sending out then-Homeland Security Secretary Napolitano to tell the press that the border had never been more secure. Why should anyone think that this administration takes border security seriously?
Unfortunately, it isn’t just the Obama administration that doesn’t take this seriously. This judge’s judgment is frightening:
“This injunction will not flood our streets with fearsome criminals seeking to escape the force of American immigration law,” Judge Kim Wardlaw of the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals wrote in an April 2013 opinion affirming the need for the bond hearings.
Judge Wardlaw was wrong. As a result of her ruling, illegal aliens got bond hearings. Thanks to that ruling, these predators have been returned to communities to terrorize citizens that the government is supposed to protect. Here’s a question that the Obama administration and their pro-illegal immigration allies haven’t answered: Why haven’t Democrats, this administration, Hillary Clinton and the National Council of La Raza put in place policies that protect people and communities?
So-called immigration hardliners have insisted on securing the border and eliminating illegal alien felons. They’ve been accused of being racists who hate Hispanics. Why? Isn’t it infinitely more likely that they just put a high priority on protecting law-abiding citizens?
