The Florida State vs. Florida live stream online and televised 2015 NCAA football game starts up Saturday evening in a classic rivalry between teams from the “Sunshine State.” The two teams are ranked near one another with the FSU Seminoles at No. 14 and the Gators right above them at No. 10. With a win today, the Seminoles won’t be in contention for the ACC Title, but it could give them a New York’s six bowl in edition to “state” bragging rights. The Gators still have College Football Playoff hopes with a win. Today’s 2015 NCAA live streaming and televised action comes via ESPN.
On Nov. 27, the Fox Sports site reported that the Florida Gators need to win today and then in the Southeastern Conference Championship Game next weekend to stay alive for the College Football Playoffs. Back in 2013, FSU came to town and ended up winning 37-7. At that time they were the No. 2 team in the nation and went on to win the national title, but now are nowhere near the championship picture. FSU got up as far as No. 9 in the Top 25 rankings this year, but then lost at Georgia Tech and later in the season to Clemson.
The Gators currently stand at 10-1 overall with a 6-0 record at home. Going into today’s game, Florida’s defensive line has a number of injuries hampering them on that side of the field. Among them are senior starter Jonathan Bullard who was hurt against FAU. Bullard is doubtful for today, but is considered one of the toughest in the nation and certainly helpful when it comes to trying to stop FSU’s Dalvin Cook. The Seminoles’ back has rushed for 1,475 yards and 16 touchdowns on his season, making him a dangerous player to watch for tonight.
Vegas odds makers first started the point spread at three points in favor of the home team, but since then it’s med to as high as three points in favor of FSU. Moneyline bettors could find FSU at -135 and the Gators at +125 as of this report. The over/under points total is currently at 44 for the game. In terms of future odds, the Gators rank ninth for teams who could win the College Football Championship as they currently have odds of 22 to 1.
