The Kim and Simon show, The Rendezvous, never disappoints. Yes, never. Primarily it covers relationship issues of different kinds, but often it dives right into sex. The two very different hosts don’t seem even slightly put off by sexual topics of any kind.
After a caller admitted not to have many, if any, memories of her sex life at all, Kim told her listeners she remembers making love until 2-3 years after a relationship ends, and then forget… She says she clearly remembers sexual details within the first few months. Simon claims to remember every detail of every sexual encounter; he believes men have a much better memory for this than women. A woman called in, however, to say that she also remembers every little detail of every man she’s ever been with. Were it not a PG show, there would be more to say, what can I tell ya.
After them, came Jason and Alexis,. “Fluffy” and “Bunny” (that’s what they call each other) covered a bigger variety of topics. The biggest one was about Matt Lauer interviewing Charlie Sheen to ask him about rumors about having HIV, paying people to have sex with him, etc. Emphasis on “people,” because the article on this doesn’t specify prostitute by profession, or needing extra money. Either way, that wasn’t the point of the story.
Charlie wrote a letter which he apparently read during the interview. The MSN article includes the whole thing. He describes finding out about having HIV back in 2011 being like a “mule kick” to his soul. He was put on four antiretroviral drugs, and soon the tests were much less dangerous. “His viral HIV load has remained consistently undetectable,” said his doctor, Robert Huizenga, in a statement also read during the interview.
Charlie admits to taking the news badly and going back to drinking, drugs, yada yada. What is most interesting, though, was that some of the ladies who consoled him back then (some of them free, some not) had decided to use the facts against him and he ended up paying out millions to keep them quiet. Well, like the saying goes: with friends like these, who needs enemies.
Neither of Charlie’s exes – Brooke Mueller, her songs with Charlie, nor Denise Richards nor his kids – are HIV positive. A spokesperson for Brooke confirmed this; not clear where the information about Richards came from.
So, that’s news for today from the vast array of Minneapolis radio. What about you, the reader? How well do certain moments of passion stay with you if the relationship doesn’t last? Does it depend on each case? Comment away!
