The Houston Writers Guild will be offering six session, making up summer of workshops provided by Julian Kindred, author of The Place in the Mist and The Hawkridge Chronicles. While writers can choose to attend only one or two of the sessions, the sessions are meant to build upon each other and create a full course.The series will be offered at the Trini Mendenhall Community Center at 1414 Wirt Road in Houston.
The cost of the series is $10 per sessions for members, $20 per session for non-members, and $5 for students with identification. To purchase the entire series, all six sessions, the cost is $50 for members, $100 for non-members, and $30 for students with identification.
