In “Hot Pursuit,” an uptight and by-the-book cop (played by Reese Witherspoon) tries to protect the sexy and outgoing widow (played by Sofia Vergara) of a drug boss as they race through Texas, pursued by crooked cops and murderous gunmen. “Hot Pursuit” got mostly negative reviews from critics and was a flop at the box office.

“Unfriended” debuted at No. 4. “Unfriended” unfolds over a teenager’s computer screen as she and her friends are stalked by an unseen figure who seeks vengeance for a shaming video that led a vicious bully to kill herself a year earlier. Starring Shelley Hennig, Moses Jacob Storm, Renee Olstead, Will Peltz, Jacob Wysocki and Courtney Halverson. “Unfriended” was a flop with critics and audiences in cinemas.
“Kingsman: The Secret Service” dropped from No. 3 to No. 5. Based upon the acclaimed comic book and directed by Matthew Vaughn, “Kingsman: The Secret Service” tells the story of a super-secret spy organization that recruits an unrefined but promising street kid (played by Taron Egerton) into the agency’s ultra-competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius. Also starring Colin Firth, Samuel L. Jackson and Mark Strong. “Kingsman: The Secret Service” was a critically acclaimed box-office hit.
