Friday was yet another day we reached 90, but dewpoints were just around 60 so it felt “comfortable”; after a morning low of 69 we did hit 90 shortly before 4pm at Philly International Airport under sunshine and fair weather cumulus in the afternoon. Overnight will be mostly clear with lows ranging from near 60 in the Poconos to around 70 in Center City.
Saturday will be hot and the humidity will be creeping up a little more as well; there will also be an isolated shower or thunderstorm chance to the north and west with a piece of energy swinging by. Highs will be in the lower 90s with a westerly wind between 10-15mph. Sunday will feature higher humidity levels as well, but mainly dry with highs in the lower 90s.
Come Monday we’ll make a run toward the middle 90s with even more humidity as well as afternoon thunderstorms popping up with a cold front pushing through; showers will end overnight and Tuesday will be seasonably mild and with lower humidity levels as well. Highs will be in the upper 80s. On Wednesday an area of low pressure will push through the Tennessee Valley and provide light showers in the afternoon with highs in the middle 80s while heavier showers & thunderstorms will be in the picture for Thursday as highs struggle to reach 80 degrees.
