Holly Madison, who admitted plastic surgery gave her a career, claims she felt pressured to get plastic surgery while living at the Playboy Mansion with Hugh Hefner.
Madison said Hefner made her “feel ugly” and controlled her through emotional manipulation and abuse, Celebrity Health Fitness reported.
“I was being constantly made to feel by Hef that I was ugly, and I was lucky to be there,” Holly told Yahoo. “I didn’t really feel OK with the way I looked until I left there because that environment can have a really unhealthy effect on a woman’s self-esteem. The only thing really valued in that environment is the way [a woman] looks and her youth.”
Madison, who dated Hefner from 2001 to 2008, took full advantage of the free plastic surgery offered to all of Hefner’s girlfriends.
While Hefner didn’t require his girlfriends to get breast implants, nose jobs and cellulite removal, almost all of them got plastic surgery because of the intense pressure to look perfect.
“It was just clear to everyone that they were getting things done and he was paying for it,” said Holly, who herself got one or two nose jobs and breast augmentations.
While Holly looked pretty on the outside, she said she never felt beautiful on the inside. “I felt like if I was attractive at all it was only because I had a nose job or wore a lot of makeup, because that’s how being with Hef made me feel,” Madison said.
Holly has admitted that plastic surgery changed her life for the better, and gave her fame, fortune, a love life and a career. Still, she said living at the Playboy Mansion made her depressed, suicidal and crushed her self-esteem, as Examiner has reported.
Madison said her self-image improved dramatically after she left the Playboy Mansion and was no longer one of the gaggle of blonde busty bikini babes vying for Hugh Hefner’s attention.
“There are always new women coming through the door that are younger and more beautiful every day,” said Holly. “I definitely snapped out of it when I left the mansion and came out into the real world.
Twice-Weekly Group Sex Orgies
Madison participated in bi-weekly group sex orgies with Hef’s other girlfriends. The orgies were not sexy at all.
The girls were all required to take a bath before the sex session, while Hefner took a Viagra pill. During the boring orgy, Hefner lied on his back as porn played in the background.
“Two huge television screens projecting graphic porn lit up the otherwise dark bed,” Holly wrote in her scathing tell-all book, Down the Rabbit Hole.
In the middle, a very pale man was [masturbating] and puffing on a joint before passing it around to the nearest blonde.
The girlfriends, in various stages of undress, were sitting in a semicircle at the edge of the bed — some kneeling, some standing, some lying down.”
In assembly-line fashion, the girls each took a turn mounting Hef for a few seconds/minutes. No condoms were used. It’s unclear what Hef and his girlfriends did to prevent STDs, but Hefner previously said he and the girls were regularly tested for sexually transmitted diseases.
Holly said all the girls hated the weekly orgy “and tried to get it over with as quickly as possible.” Madison was advised early on to “fake” everything, and all the girls pretended to make our with each other. “My turn was over just as quickly as it had started,” she wrote.
Hefner: Holly Is Lying to Extend Her 15 Minutes of Fame
Meanwhile, Hefner, 89, has denied Madison’s claims that he emotionally abused and manipulated her, saying Holly has “chosen to rewrite history in an attempt to stay in the spotlight.”
In her book, Madison potrayed Hefner as a dirty old man who took advantage of young women and detailed the bizarre bi-weekly group sex orgies she had to participate in as one of Hef’s girlfriends.
Holly is being slammed in the blogosphere as a gold digger who used Hefner for fame, money, a career and free plastic surgery who’s now biting the hand that feeds her.
“That’s why when you are done with a prostitute, you make her leave,” one person wrote online. “This is what Hef gets for giving Holly a pretty decent life and some kind of future. She never was and never will be, relevant.”
Despite her claims of emotional and psychological abuse, Madison dated Hefner from 2001 to 2008, during which she repeatedly nagged him to marry and impregnate her. Those scenes were caught on film on the hit Playboy-themed reality show, “The Girls Next Door.”
Holly eventually dumped Hef after he told her he would never marry her. The final straw was when none of Hefner’s semen samples during their in-vitro fertilization process turned out to be viable.
In 2012, Hugh Hefner married Playboy Playmate Crystal Harris. Holly Madison is now married to “businessman” Pasquale Rotella and mom to their daughter, Rainbow. In 2012, Rotella was indicted for bribery and embezzlement over concerts he had produced.
