5K TURKEY TROT- on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26, the hotel is sponsoring its third annual event around The Phoenician’s scenic golf course. Fifty percent of all proceeds go to benefit the International Rescue Committee (IRC). All ages welcome. Prizes will be awarded to the top three overall finishers. To enter, call 480-423-2530. Entry fee is $20 a person but free for registered guests.

Ho, ho, ho SANTA’S WORKSHOP will take place every Thursday-Saturday in December from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at The Phoenician Retail Corridor. UP & AWAY WINTER HOLIDAY on Dec. 26 you can keep the fun going with tethered hot-air balloon rides, live music, a horse-drawn carriage, a human snow globe, a Ferris wheel and more. Offerings from the resort’s top restaurants will also be available for an additional fee. In addition, s’mores & stargazing will take place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. This one costs $20 for non guests and $10 for people staying in the hotel. Children five or under are half price.
