Military Veteran and CEO of locally-based Santasha Styles, Santasha Quarles has been selected as a Finalist for Ms. Veteran America 2015.
The competition began with over 600 inquiries and the top 25 Finalists will compete in October, in Las Vegas. She will be representing the U. S. Air Force and the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia area in this national competition.
Quarles is seeking support to help her spread the word and raise awareness and donations for our homeless women veterans and their families.
She has set up a CrowdRise donation page. On her page she states it is estimated that there are currently 55,000 homeless women veterans in the United States on any given day.
For the sacrifices they and their families have made, this is an unacceptable state for any of them to be in, she goes on to state.
Through her donation page, she is raising funds for Final Salute Inc. She states it is , “… an organization that believes in paying women veterans with the proper respects due to them for the service they have provided to our country.”
Final Salute also works veterans in establishing plans toward financial independence.
