Kendra Wilkinson said Holly Madison is lying about the alleged emotional abuse she suffered at the Playboy Mansion, and defended Hugh Hefner as an “amazing person.” Wilkinson said Madison is trying to get revenge against Hefner for not marrying her by writing her scathing tell-all book, “Down the Rabbit Hole.”
“How could [Holly] want kids and want to get married to him and then say these things about Hef?” Kendra told People. “It’s just out of revenge, and I feel bad for Hef. He’s an amazing human being.”
Separately, Hugh Hefner’s son, Cooper, slammed Holly on Twitter, calling her a desperate gold digger who’s trying to portray herself as a victim in order to shill her book.
“How does a person who is famous for being a gold digger paint themselves as a victim of a relationship they aggressively sought out for?” Cooper tweeted. “Holly Madison, V. Stiviano, and a few other lovely ladies that lived in LA make a Justice League type group of wonderfully sh*tty people.”
Kendra Wilkinson, who was one of Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends from 2004 to 2009, said Holly always had a prima donna attitude and was desperate to marry and have children with Hef. Wilkinson said Madison is now behaving like a scorned woman because she was unable to achieve her “agenda,” which was being Mrs. Hugh Hefner.
Holly had this ulterior motive every minute being at the Mansion, and that motive was – it was clear as day – she wanted Hef’s kids, she wanted a piece of Playboy and she wanted to marry Hef for, obviously, his will.
That didn’t happen. So what do you think is going to happen? Revenge. So we’re witnessing some revenge here.”
Kendra, 30, starred on the hit Playboy-themed reality TV show, “The Girls Next Door” with Holly and Bridget Marquardt from 2005 to 2009.
Wilkinson, who’s by far the most successful professionally of the three, admitted she dated Hefner to have fun, and never pretended she loved him. Kendra is now married to former NFL star Hank Baskett, with whom she has two sons. The Basketts star on their own popular reality show, “Kendra On Top.”
Holly: Plastic Surgery Gave Me Everything
In her bombshell book, Down the Rabbit Hole, Holly claimed Hefner tried to ply her with drugs when they first met and manipulated her to the point that she once considered suicide after falling into a deep depression.
Holly further claims she was bullied by his other girlfriends over her unsophisticated appearance and was fat-shamed until she lost weight. “According to their ruthless taunting, I was the ‘thick girl’ from Nowheresville, USA,” Madison wrote.
Madison said her self-esteem crumbled after being one of Hef’s many girlfriends. “Living with Hef brought down my self-esteem a lot,” said Holly. “I was comparing myself to the other girls. You have to look a certain way at the mansion.”
Madison took full advantage of the free plastic surgery offered to Hefner’s girlfriends to fashion herself to Hef’s aesthetic ideal: Holly dyed her hair platinum blonde, got several breast augmentations and one or two nose jobs.
While she initially changed her looks for Hef, Holly said plastic surgery completely changed her life and gave her fame, fortune, a love life and a career, as Examiner has reported.
Plastic surgery made it easier for me to get things I wanted in my career. Without it, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
It made me more confident. And a lot of doors open when you look a certain way.”
Despite molding herself as a sexy blonde Playboy model, Madison said she felt depressed living at the Playboy Mansion. Holly said Hef’s manipulative mind games made her extremely insecure. Things got so bad Holly contemplated suicide in 2002.
Despite her claims of emotional and psychological abuse, Madison dated Hefner from 2001 to 2008, during which time she repeatedly nagged him to marry and impregnate her. Those scenes were caught on film on the hit Playboy-themed reality show, “The Girls Next Door.”
Holly eventually dumped Hef, 89, after he repeatedly told her he would never marry her. The final straw was when none of Hefner’s semen samples during their in-vitro fertilization process turned out to be viable.
In 2012, Hugh Hefner married Playboy Playmate Crystal Harris. Holly Madison is now married to “businessman” Pasquale Rotella and mom to their daughter, Rainbow. In 2012, Rotella was indicted for bribery and embezzlement over concerts he had produced.
