A black and tan German shepherd must have had a very difficult life thus far. Just six-years-old, one has to question what has happened to his ears? Did someone intentionally mutilate them or is all a result of tissue damage due to years of continuous fly strikes? Nevertheless, sometimes being at the shelter is a blessing.

Little information is available about this dog as to his temperament or how he reacts to other dogs, children or cats. He is expected to be available for adoption on July 29; after that date without any interested parties, the dog can be euthanized at anytime because of severe overcrowding conditions this summer.
