The actor is known for FOX’s “Batman: The Animated Series” as Bruce Wayne, the dashing CEO of Wayne Enterprises whose parents were murdered as a young boy. Seeking revenge, Bruce took matters into his own hands in becoming a brooding Caped Crusader against the likes of the Joker, Penguin, Two-Face, Catwoman, Killer Croc, Poison Ivy, and an endless rogue gallery of villains. Conroy continued the role of Batman with “Justice League” and “Justice League Unlimited”, as well as recurring guest spots on “Superman: The Animated Series” and “Static Shock”. Batman and Superman are the “World’s Finest” of superheroes that founded and formed the Justice League alongside Wonder Woman, the Flash, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, and so on.
Conroy went “Batman Beyond” in 1999, where Bruce Wayne/Batman becomes the gruff mentor to young Terry McGinnis (Will Friedle), who rises in becoming the Batman for a futuristic Gotham City.
