Give Kids the World Village held its third annual Blogger Bash on August 1, inviting local bloggers out to the resort to see its work firsthand. Give Kids the World is run entirely on donations, and it provides seriously ill children and their families with no-cost vacations to Orlando theme parks and attractions to fulfill their special wishes.

Give Kids the World Village
Bloggers visited Give Kids the World Village to learn more about the resort’s mission and to help publicize its work. Give Kids the World Village provides free vacations to seriously ill kids and their families.
Pamela Landwirth, wife of Give Kids the World Village founder Henri Landwirth, shared some inspiring stories with bloggers about kids whose lives were changed after staying at the resort.
Bloggers enjoyed some of the fare typically eaten by families staying at Give Kids the World Village. In addition to the salad bar, Perkins, Boston Market, and Papa Johns Pizza all provide dining options.
Companies like Krispy Kreme doughnuts, Chick-Fil-A, and Gigi’s Cupcakes provided sweet treats for attendees of the Give Kids the World Blogger Bash.
Give Kids the World Village has many generous corporate sponsors, and many companies banded together to provide swag for the bloggers who attended the third annual Blogger Bash at the resort.
Bloggers had an opportunity to tour Give Kids the World Village and see all the playgrounds and other fun areas where kids can enjoy themselves, as well as the home-style villas where they stay.
Bloggers learned how kids who visit Give Kids the World Village get to visit parks like Walt Disney World, Universal Studios Florida, and SeaWorld Orlando. They also saw the rides that are right at the village.
Although the weather didn’t cooperate for the planned pool party during the Give Kids the World Blogger Bash, bloggers still had a chance to see the pool and water play area.
Characters are a big part of the fun at Give Kids the World Village. Reme of Rugby and Reme fame was on hand for photos during the Blogger Bash.
