Book author Julie Poole gives tips to entrepreneurs and every day women on how to go from tragedy to triumph in a new series of books. One of the biggest challenges you are ever going to meet as an entrepreneur is managing your brand. What most entrepreneurs don’t understand is, they are their brand. No matter what the product is that they are selling, marketing or promoting, the sale is made based on how you left the consumer feeling and how they felt about you. Yes, your hidden beliefs, habits, patterns and emotions can block your success and you may not even realize it.
As an author and hypnotherapist based in the UK, Julie Poole shares with us her journey from tragedy to triumph by offering some tips on how people can take their lives and businesses to the next level. Julie Poole teaches readers to learn to love and respect yourself! Be kind to you; you are your own best friend, treat yourself as such. Take responsibility for your life and your own happiness. If people have hurt you, it’s because they are damaged. Let go of blame, try to find compassion and forgiveness (if not for them, certainly for yourself,) then let go. Do what you can to heal yourself from the hurt by facing it, acknowledging it, and by getting outside help to heal if you need to. Decide that you can be happy, then do what you need to do to move towards that happiness.”
She continues, “Believe in yourself! You are good enough just the way you are! You are perfect within your imperfections! Stop beating yourself up, putting yourself down and limiting yourself from failed relationships or poor life choices. Reach for your dreams and believe you are worthy – you can do it! Know that everything is a reflection of you, a mirror. If you want love or good relationships in your life – you have to love your life. If you want a man to love you – you have to love you. Everything you want is inside you, not outside you, so make the inside shine, and then the outside will shine back at you, like the mirror that life is.” Poole goes on to share:
“Let go of the past – don’t let it define you. Face it, heal it and let it go. No matter what you have been through, no matter how painful, there is nothing that can’t be healed, there is nothing that has happened to you that can block your happiness, unless you let it.”
JP: Many things take time to heal, this is true, but they also take a willingness to face any pain and a determination to overcome it. This takes courage, honesty and a deep sense of wanting healing to move through it. You will come out stronger, more resilient and more at peace than you have ever been before, and it is a journey well worth taking.
Take responsibility for your own happiness and relationships. Don’t look to someone else to give it to you. No one can fill any void in you but you! No one can ‘complete’ you, only you! Believe in yourself and your dreams. Identify your goals, your priorities and focus on them with the intention of creating them. Be willing to face and deal with anything that is in the way, anything that is blocking it. This may seem easy and already known, but you will surprise yourself on how many people miss the mark on this advice. Often times it’s not what you think it is.
Poole always loved to write as a child but it never occurred to her that she would be an author one day. Instead she chose a career in advice, support and homelessness where she worked for many years. Alongside this Julie has always had a strong interest and draw to all that is spiritual, mystical and magical. Insightful and with a want to move further towards balance the year 2000 Julie left her career in housing, relocating to Cornwall and retrained as a Hypnotherapist.
‘She wrote Angel On My Shoulder’ in 2011 and immediately began working on the sequel ‘Angel In My Heart’ which she completed in 2014 and published both in September and October 2014. However, in June 2015 Julie decided to leave her publishers and form her own publishing company J.P. Publishing. She had both her books re-edited and re-formatted, with new covers and republished them in July 2015 under the titles ‘Angel On My Shoulder (Sarah’s Story)’ and ‘Angel In My Heart ‘(‘Clarabelle’s Story.’ Her third book, ‘Angel in My Fingers (Frieda’s Story)’ she published at the end of July 2015. Book 4 in the series ‘Angel In My Paws (Fred’s Story)’ we can expect in 2015/16. You can learn more about Julie and buy her books by going to her website JuliePooleAuthor.com or visit Amazon.
