The praises of vinegar are many—it’s a multi-useful product that does everything from preserving pickles to tackling tough cleaning jobs. It’s been around for centuries and even shows up in the Bible.
Vinegar, although it may be strong, is basically non-toxic, created from fermentation, and free of harmful chemicals if used correctly even though it is an acid. A new vinegar product has come down the pike called: Four Monks Cleaning Vinegar.
Vinegar is great to use in the bathroom on fixtures, countertops, and sinks because it delivers all-purpose clearing. The same product is good for toilets, sinks or flat surfaces. Four Monks best feature is they have reduced the powerful strong vinegar smell while still increasing the concentration. The types they specialize in are: Aroma Control and Citrus Mint.
Four Monks is great for shower stalls because it will help aid in sheeting on the glass—simply because you are removing soap scum, mildew buildup and dirt. We have cleaned our shower and, as a precaution, if the area is closed in—wear protective glasses, gloves and even a mask/breather. If the shower area is wide-open, well-ventilated or three-sided, you won’t need so much protective gear.
The smell dissipates with Four Monks Cleaning Vinegar and leaves a fresh scent behind. This is a great alternative to anti-bacterial cleaners used in a kitchen perhaps—which we should use less of or eliminate altogether as scientists now tell us that so many types of bacteria grow and change and as a result become hard to kill because of anti-bacterial overuse.
Think about using vinegar to:
- clean doorknobs and fixtures during flu season
- clean electronic equipment
- clean window blinds
- use it to remove carpet stains
- clean brick work
- clean showerheads
- disinfect cutting boards
- and more….
