As the temperatures drop and the leaves change colors, so does the beer. From a pale straw look to a deep gold and amber view is what makes the fall time crisp, flavorful and inviting. With the changes also come some great beer festivals and events that provide some of the best brews in town, throughout the country and world. Let’s take a look at some craft beer fun events that you need to check out right in your backyard.
Brewfest on Crockett 2015: September 19, 5pm to 10pm– Not only is this awesome event free, but it also provides some of the best brews, food and music Fort Worth has to offer. The admission is free and the only thing you have to pay for is some great brews which are set at $5 a glass and wonderful food vendors that are spread throughout the street. Even the live music is free! If you love craft beer, food and music, this event is definitely the one to check out. Located on West 7th street in downtown Fort Worth.
Fort Worth’s Oktoberfest 2015: September 24-26, Thur and Fri 5pm to 11pm, Sat 11am to 11pm– The traditional German Oktoberfest with a kick of Texan cowboy brings with it beer, music, food, dancing, german games and more. This event is only $12 for a three day pass if bought online before hand and still only $5 at the gate on Thursday and $10 at the gate on Friday and Saturday. If you love beer and dancing then this event will fit you perfect and of course having a little German background helps as well. Located at the Shack at Panther Pavilion Island, It is sure to bring you plenty of joy and fun.
Flying Saucer 10th annual Beer Feast: October 10, 2pm to 6:30pm– Another great craft beer festival, especially for the craft beer enthusiast. This event is a beer tasting haven in which 80 different kinds of brews are served up in 2oz souvenir glasses with your choice of 12 samples and additional sample cards can be purchased as you make your rounds for only $3. Tickets for this event can be purchased online with general admission priced at $35 a person and a special VIP early entrance pass for $65. General admission passes will also be available at the entrance on the day of the event but will be priced $45 at that time. This tasting event is something you don’t want to miss, so go ahead and purchase your tickets while they are still available!
