The 2015 British Grand Prix race on the Formula One circuit is taking place this Sunday, July 5, 2015, at the Silverstone Circuit located near the village of Silverstone in Northamptonshire, England. Here is a list of the betting odds for driver’s to win the 2015 British Grand Prix.
The British Grand Prix has been held annually since 1948. England’s Jim Clark (1962-65, 1967) and France’s Alain Prost (1983, 1985, 1989, 1990, 1993) jointly hold the record for most wins with five each. Lewis Hamilton is the defending champion and he is gunning for his third win in the British Grand Prix in 2015.

Formula One driver odds to win the 2015 British Grand Prix
1. Lewis Hamilton – 1/2 odds
At odds of 1/2, Lewis Hamilton is a very heavy favorite to win the British Grand Prix for the third time in 2015. Hamilton is the defending champion and he also won the race in 2008. So far in 2015, Lewis Hamilton has won four of the eight Formula One races run in 2015 (Australian, Chinese, Bahrain, and Canadian Grand Prix’s).
2. Nico Rosberg – 15/8 odds
Nico Rosberg from Germany is the second betting choice to win the British Grand Prix at odds of 15 to 8 to 1. Rosberg won this race in 2013 and he has won three of the eight Formula One races run this year including the last race in Austria. Rosberg also won the Spanish and Monaco Grand Prix’s so he has won three of the last four Formula One races in 2015.
3. Sebastian Vettel – 12 to 1 odds
Sebastian Vettel from Germany is the third betting choice to win the British Grand Prix at odds of 12 to 1. Those are much higher odds than Hamilton or Rosberg have. Vettel won the Malaysian Grand Prix in 2015 and he is the only other driver to win a Formula One race this season other than Lewis Hamilton or Nico Rosberg. Sebastian Vettel won the British Grand Prix in 2009.
4. Kimi Raikkonen – 25 to 1 odds
Kimi Raikkonen won the British Grand Prix back in 2007 and he is the fourth betting choice in 2015 but with distant odds of 25 to 1. Raikkonen has one podium finish this season, second at Bahrain, but he crashed out of the Austrian Grand Prix on the first lap in his last race.
T-5. Valtteri Bottas, Felipe Massa – 66 to 1 odds each
Valterri Bottas has one podium finish this season, a third in the Canadian Grand Prix, and he is fifth in the driver’s standings. Felipe Massa also has one podium finish and it was in the last race when he finished third in the Austrian Grand Prix and he is sixth in the driver’s standings.
7. Romain Grosjean – 250 to 1 odds
Romain Grosjean is 10th in the driver standings but he’s seventh in the betting odds this week at 250 to 1. His best finish in a race in 2015 is a pair of seventh place finishes.
8. Pastor Maldonado, Sergio Perez – 300 to 1 odds each
Pastor Maldonado is 13th in the standings and he has only finished three races in 2015 so far this season but two of the finishes were seventh in each of the last two Formula One races. Sergio Perez has finished every race in 2015 but his best finish is seventh in the Monaco Grand Prix.
T-10. Daniel Ricciardo, Max Verstappen, Nico Hulkenberg, Daniil Kvyat, Carlos Sainz – 500 to 1 odds each
Daniel Ricciardio has also finished every race with a best finish of 5th in Monaco. Max Verstappen was eighth in Austria, while Nico Hulkenberg was sixth. Daniil Kvyat was fourth in Monaco for his best finish this season. Carlos Sainz best finish was 8th in Malaysia.
T-15. Fernando Alonso, Jenson Button – 1,500 to 1 odds each
Fernando Alonso has two wins in the British Grand Prix (2006, 2011) but his best finish in 2015 is 11th in Bahrain and he has only finished two races this season. Jenson Button’s best finish was 8th in Monaco but he failed to finish the last two races.
T-17. Felipe Nasr, Marcus Ericsson – 2,000 to 1 odds each
Felipe Nasr has finished every race this season but his best finish was fifth in the first race in Australia. Marcus Ericsson has finished 13th or 14th in all five of his last races.
T-19. Roberto Mehri, Will Stevens – 5,000 to 1 odds each
