There is a new street show at Universal Studios Florida. Flying Fish Market will take less than ten minutes out of your theme park visit, but it is well worth the stop. The show features two jugglers, two acrobats, and an MC who is the “boss”. Sometimes the performers will work together, others they will all do their own short acts. You’ll see machetes juggled from the top of a tall unicycle, feats of strength, and so much more.
The premise of the show is that the boss and his workers are trying to sell special fish at their market. The fish are unique because they’re flying fish, and you will see plenty of fish flying through the air during the show. The show’s concept is not what you will remember it for, you’ll instead enjoy the antics of the four “workers”. You’ll be amazed by what they can do in just a few minutes.
Flying Fish Market takes place in the San Francisco section of the park, not too far from the entrance to Diagon Alley. There is not a kiosk or other structure to mark the exact spot, look for the graffiti wall. There is no word on whether or not Universal Orlando Resort plans to make Flying Fish Market a permanent part of the Universal Studios Florida line up, the show could be just extra entertainment for the busy season. There are several shows most days, so take a break for a few minutes and watch the Flying Fish Market. You’ll be glad you did.
