Four players – Blake Bortles, Allen Robinson, Allen Hurns and Marcus Mariota – starting in the Week #11 Thursday Night Football (TNF) game could turn into long-term fantasy football stars.
Jacksonville’s Bortles is ranked No. 9 among fantasy football quarterbacks with 178.54 points, according to football.fantasysports.yahoo.com.. The second-year quarterback falls short of membership in the 20+ Club, but has thrown for 2,381 yards and has 19 touchdown passes to his credit. (A player must average 20 points-per-game to be in the 20+ Club.)
The two Allens – Robinson and Hurns – are wide receivers on the Jacksonville Jaguars. Robinson is also a second-year player who is ranked No. 6 among fantasy football wide receivers with 117.80 points, 45 receptions, 757 receiving yards and seven touchdown catches. Hurns is No. 10 among wide receivers with 109.70 points, 41 receptions, 697 receiving yards and seven touchdown catches.
Rookie Marcus Mariota of Tennessee is ranked No. 25 among fantasy football quarterbacks with 121.90 points in seven games. Mariota has a quarterback rating of 98.3, has thrown 13 touchdown passes and passed for 1,795 yards.
