“Kiddo” was surrendered to the Carson Animal Care the day after Thanksgiving because his family decided it was time for the 12-year-old miniature pinscher “to pass away.” It would seem they thought the shelter would be the best place to suit their own needs; tragically they assumed this little senior wasn’t worthy of a second thought.
No one is really sure how Kiddo’s owners decided it was their dog’s time to die, and no medical notes have been posted, however he has been described as very much alive, adorable, confused and very lonely in the medical ward of the shelter. He is not listed on PetHarbor, however Carson Animal Care Center may have him in a quieter area because of his advanced age. Surely that doesn’t mean he is ready to die.

Please share Kiddo’s plight with approved rescue organizations, family, friends and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives, and every life counts. “These little guys can live a long time. Just because they get a frosted face or don’t move as fast or well is no reason to throw them away. Hoping that someone adopts this fur baby who will give him a good life until his body says it is time to go,” stated Holly, an advocate helping to share Kiddo’s story.
