If you’re a fan of beer, get ready to get your tickets for the sixth annual Great Beer Expo that’s set to take place on February 6, 2016.
There’s going to be over 80 brewers in attendance at the Great Beer Expo as well as over 150 beers, so it’s a great chance to revisit old favorite beers or find some new ones. If you purchase your tickets online and in advance, tickets are $45 plus tax/fee, but if you want until the day of, they’re $60 plus tax/fee at the door and you can only pay in cash. If you’re not planning on drinking and you’re just going to have a good time, Designated Driver tickets are $10 each plus tax/fee. While GA ticket holders will walk away with a souvenir tasting glass, DD ticket holders will receive a bottle of water.
Food is available for purchase at the Great Beer Expo, so make sure to bring your appetite as well as your love of trying new beers. There are two different session times to get in. Session 1 is from 12:30pm to 4pm, and Session 2 is from 5:30pm to 9pm. The event is held indoors, so it’s a rain or shine event.
Keep in mind that the Great Beer Expo is a 21+ event, even for designated drivers who aren’t going to be drinking, and you’re going to have to show a photo ID at the door. Volunteers are currently still needed for the event, so make sure to check out the Volunteers page on the site.
