Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party lets kids (and adults) dress up in costume and go trick or treating, but it’s also packed with entertainment. The main shows include the Boo to You Parade, the Happy Hallowishes fireworks show, and the brand-new Hocus Pocus Villian Spelltacular in front of Cinderella Castle. You’ll enjoy the other options, like dance parties and character greetings, but be sure to leave time in your night for the big spectaculars.
If you’d like a sampling of the “big three” Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party shows, check out the videos below. The party happens after the Magic Kingdom closes for the evening and requires a hard ticket. It runs on select nights through November 1, and tickets do sell out, so buy them in advance for your preferred date.

The Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular show is brand new at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and already insanely popular. It runs four times a night on the Cinderella Castle stage to give you ample time to work it into your party schedule. Grab a show times guide when you enter the park for the exact times, and stake out your spot at least 30 minutes early for optimal viewing. It’s on a raised stage, which helps a lot if you get stuck farther back.

Show Director Denise Case talks about the new Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom, which features the witch trio tracking down the ingredients for a potion to make the best Halloween party ever. They just need a little help from Dr. Facilier, Oogie Boogie, and Maleficient.

The Boo to You Parade runs twice each night of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, with a catchy tune and a full cadre of characters. The later parade is generally less crowded, but that’s not as true this year as in years past because more people stay at the Magic Kingdom until the wee hours due to the midnight performance of the Hocus Pocus show.

The Happy Hallowishes fireworks take place once each night of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, so you only get once chance to see them. Be sure to look up the time in your show guide so you can plan around them. Although the preferred viewing spot is in front of Cinderella Castle, you can get a good view from various spots around the park so don’t worry if you’re not right in the hub. I’ve viewed them myself from places like behind the castle and off in Adventureland and enjoyed the show and the lack of a massive crowd.
