These cookies are a healthy treat, and will help to refuel your body after a good workout. They can be frozen, so make enough on the weekend to last a week or two. Sporting chia seeds, cherries, almonds, and more, these nutrition packed cookies will soon be a favorite and will satisfy a chocolate craving at the same time. The total preparation and cook time is about 30 minutes, with extra time for packaging to freeze.
Thai Green Salad with Shrimp and Spicy Almond Dressing
A wonderful summer salad option, in a mason jar. How easily these can be stored in the refrigerator, covered, until ready to serve at your next get-together. With mixed baby greens and sprouts combined with shrimp, it would difficult to go wrong with this healthy recipe. This salad will pack a good nutritional punch for sure. Total preparation and cook time for this recipe is 25 minutes, and the individual salads are packed into their own serving containers. No need to dish it up when ready to eat.
Slow Cooker Moroccan Chicken with Chopped Almonds, Apricots and Cauliflower “Couscous”
Slow cooker meals are easy to prepare. Simply throw the ingredients into the crock, cover, and do something else while the meal spends the next few hours cooking. Who doesn’t love chicken? This recipe has a second part that will also be easy easy to pull off; the cauliflower “couscous”. This chicken dish is a nutritious main meal for any night of the week. Total preparation time is 387 minutes, but most of that is cook time using the slow cooker.
Layered Chia & Almond Pudding Parfait
This Paleo recipe makes for a healthy dessert option for those looking to lose weight without feeling deprived. It is not always easy to find a decent dessert option, but Danielle has outdone herself with this one. Raw cocoa powder, dates, almonds, bananas, and berries provide many nutrients. Start preparing this recipe the day before you need it. Overnight refrigeration is necessary.
Almond Matcha Superfood Smoothie
Smoothies and superfoods are popular are these days. When made with frozen fruit, smoothies provide a cool treat on a hot day. And this one is especially nutritious. Total preparation time comes in at 10 minutes, meaning you can make one when you are in a hurry as well.
