Sean Diddy Combs was arrested on Monday after getting into a fight with UCLA football coach while watching son Justin Combs’ football practice according to a Monday, June 22 report from Gossip Cop. Diddy obviously did not care for the way one coach screamed at his son during practice. One eyewitness claims that Diddy approached the coach for screaming at his son Justin and the two men became engaged in a heated argument that ended with Diddy laying hands on the coach.
TMZ reports that the singer hit the coach with a weight and is looking at a felony for assault with a deadly weapon. Campus police were called, and Diddy was arrested and taken to a jail on UCLA’s property. A source connected with Diddy tells TMZ Diddy himself initially wanted to call police, but the phone was taken out of his hands. It has also been revealed that the entire confrontation was captured on video. It has been revealed that it is common to see Diddy standing along the sidelines during his son’s college practice. It has also been suggested that the UCLA staff refers to Diddy as a “helicopter dad.”
It has been determined that Sean Combs allegedly attacked the coach with a kettlebell weight. He was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon … a felony. Head football coach Jim Mora called this an “unfortunate incident for all parties involved” — and said they would let the legal process run its course.
Diddy is not backing down from his story that he acted in self-defense and was not the aggressor. Combs also claims his intent was to talk with the coach about the treatment of his son but the coach would not see him and staff told him to leave … but Diddy went to Alosi’s office instead where Alosi told him to get out and threatened to call security if he didn’t leave. Diddy said, “Fine, I’ll call the police” … and Alosi snapped — going after Diddy with his hands.
It is believed that the fight film will be closely reviewed. No matter who is guilty of starting or ending the parent coach brawl it is for certain that Justin Combs will never live it down. In fact it could impact his playing time seriously should the coaches see fit. What is not known is how Justin Combs feels about his dad standing guard over football practices and then fighting his battles for him when he is in college. Bad move Diddy. We are sure your heart is in the right place as a parent, but this is college, not kindergarten. What do you think about Diddy fighting with his son Justin’s college football coach?
