Longtime meditation practitioner and instructor Barry Gillespie guides Metta for Meditation: The Practice of Loving Kindness tonight at Asana Studio, with a focus on Metta for All Beings. Or, if you’ve been impacted by addiction, attend The Yoga of 12-Step Recovery (Y12SR) Monthly Meeting this and the second Thursday night of each month at Bhavana Collective. This donation-based discussion and yoga practice approaches addiction recovery from the cognitive 12-step program model and the somatic practice of yoga.
Friday, August 14: Sign up for the Iyengar Immersion with Manouso Manos this weekend at Iyengar Yoga Center of Denver. Manouso is one of only two Advanced Senior Iyengar Yoga Teachers worldwide. The immersion begins with All Levels Asana this evening. Manouso leads two All Levels Asana sessions tomorrow, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The immersion ends on Sunday morning with an All Levels Asana and Pranayama practice. At least one year of Iyengar Yoga experience is recommended.
