“I’m very honored to be playing this event for the first time,” said Orlando singer/songwriter Alex Stamper. “I’m currently in the process of recording my first EP consisting of four originals and I’m excited to be performing those as well as some others I’ve written over the past few years. I’m happy to introduce my work to a new audience and share what’s in my heart through music.”
“We are very excited to be playing in the DeLand Original Music Festival for the first time,” said Orlando Vicente from Orlando band Armor of God. “We can’t wait to rock out and share our heavy, melodic and uplifting music! Hope to see you all there!”
“We are beyond excited to be getting the opportunity to play this, our first festival,” said the members of Orlando Indie rock band Sweet Cambodia. “We plan on going absolutely crazy on stage, while pouring our hearts and souls into the performance so DeLand has as great as a time as we do when we play.”
“I played last year for the first time at three different venues and enjoyed the whole thing,” said Orlando based singer/songwriter Adam Kersch (Wrong Brother). “It was very well put together and the audiences were all great. I’ll be playing a song (“Little Bird”) I wrote while I was doing research on refugees in Italy this spring. It’s not related in a specific way to the refugee crisis in Europe or anything, but more to the feeling of trying to find yourself while going through hard times. This will be the first time I’ve properly played it live, so I’m excited for that as well.”
Stages are scattered throughout the historic downtown area. There will be stages located at Old Court House main stage, Chess Park, The Half Wall Beer House (two stages), Woodland Corner stage, De La Vega outside street stage, Brickhouse Grill, DeLand Computers stage, The Grotto, Pioneer Park stage, Byte, The Elusive Grape (two stages), BerryVille, Issues (three stages), Abbey, The Blind Pig, DeLand City Hall outside stage, Cafe Davinci (four stages), Georgia Ave. main stage, Steve’s Downtown Music, Mac’s on Main (two stages) and East Georgia Ave. street stage.
