Things have been getting crazy on “Days of Our Lives” recently and it looks like some cast shake-ups are about to happen. There have been several rumors of a possible Abigail recast, Bo was killed off just over a week ago, and now there is more news of another exit. According to a report from Serial Scoop on Monday, Greg Vaughan’s character Eric Brady will be written off “Days of Our Lives.” There is very little information on this at the moment, but Serial Scoop will be posting an exclusive interview with the soap star in the very near future.
Greg Vaughan exiting “Days of Our Lives” has some fans hopeful he could return to “General Hospital” as Lucky Spencer. There is a clear void in Port Charles without Lucky and since it is a role that Vaughan has held before, it wouldn’t be unbelievable to have him return. Right now there is no confirmation as to where Greg Vaughan will head after leaving “Days of Our Lives.” His role of Eric Brady has been a heavy one over the last few years and he has showcased his talent greatly throughout his stint in Salem.
“Days of Our Lives” just recently celebrated 50 years on the air, but many fans are upset on where things are headed. Since the show tapes six months or so in advance, there is no telling when Greg Vaughan will air his final episode. Fans are reacting to this news all over social media and in various Facebook groups. There is hope that Vaughan will appear on another soap, and many feel “General Hospital” is the best spot!
