If you have some Christmas parties and functions you plan to attend and have no clue how to wear your hair, this article will help you.
For a formal event:
Up do’s are appropriate for a formal event. Twist long hair up in the back and fasten with a clip or bobby and hair pins. For a formal event, pull the twist a bit tighter than usual. You can leave all of the hair pulled back or pull out a piece on each side of the head, near the ears. If you do pull out the pieces, be sure to curl them into a spiral like curl to keep the elegant look of the event.
French twist is a great look for a formal affair. You can pull your bangs into the clip of leave them out and give them a silky sleek look.
Using a large sparkly comb, pull your hair back on one side of your head. Fix the rest of your hair sleek and bump it under on the bottom.
Casual get together:
If you have short hair, now would be a good time to fix it wild and crazy…spiky even!
If you have long hair, you can wear it down, straight or curly. You can also pull it back loosely into a claw clip in the back of the head.
A low bun at the nape of the neck is also a great option. A messy bun would also work for a casual get together.
For a dress/casual event:
For short hair, a sleek or soft look is appropriate here.
For medium to long hair, pull hair into a loose twist in the back and fasten with a clip. Pull out strands of hair where you see appropriate. This is a great dress/casual look. You can even tuck a ribbon or some sparkly clips into the look.
You can also wear your hair down and curl just the bottom half into spiral curls. To loosen up the curls, pull down on them a couple of times.
Tips: Do not overload your hair with hair spray. You can mist it, but be sure to keep a soft look to your hair.
Add shiny and sparkly clips to any hairstyle.
Add a headband to a casual look.
