For many families, Chipotle is a favorite fast casual restaurant. The burrito restaurant is committed to serving sustainably raised ingredients. With its commitment to the greater good, Chipotle will be raising funds for Toys for Tots on December 6.
Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them as gifts for the holidays. On December 6, all Chicago and surrounding Chicagoland Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurants will donate 50 percent of the day’s proceeds to the Toys for Tots Chicago. Customers must mention or present a fundraiser flyer in order for proceeds to benefit the organization.
As part of its ongoing community efforts in the Chicagoland region, Chipotle Mexican Grill specifically gives back to Chicago throughout the year, but especially during this holiday season. This initiative strives to give local needy children a proper holiday. The Chicagoland Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurants have donated over $750,000 to local community organizations in the Chicagoland area in 2015.
This fundraising event will be held from 11 a.m. till 10 p.m. on Sunday, December 6 at all Chicago-area Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurants.
Grab the family, enjoy a burrito and support the Toys for Tots charity at Chipotle on December 6.
