Great news for people who live in Mobile, Alabama and want to take a cruise right from their home port, Carnival Cruise Lines announced a deal today, Sept. 23 , that they will begin cruises on the Carnival Fantasy from the Mobile Cruise Terminal on the Carnival Fantasy starting in the fall of 2016. But before she arrives in Alabama the 2,056-passenger ship will undergo a complete overhaul that will bring her up to code with the line’s Fun Ship 2.0 fleet. Additions include a Guy’s Burger Joint, developed in tandem with Food Network star Guy Fieri, two poolside watering holes, the RedFrog Rum Bar and BlueIguana Tequila Bar, and the BlueIguana Cantina Mexican-themed eatery.
