Phenomenal background vocalist Candy West is finally making the leap to the forefront with her debut live recording this Friday at the NorthWood Church in Keller. West is known for her signature vocals that often sit atop the background vocals accompanying the likes of: Bishop Marvin Sapp, Kirk Franklin, Tamela Mann, Fred Hammond and also led Myron Butler and Levi’s debut smash “Set Me Free”. After years of prayer and sowing into the vision of countless artists and their recordings, the time has finally come for West to walk this path of her life’s journey.
After nearly 20 years in the music industry, West has developed not only a sound but a following. One of the songs many have fallen in love with her performing in “Great and Mighty Is He” which is the only cover on the debut project filled with original music by West and other writers.
